CHARACTERIZATION OF TRAVELLING FIRES IN LARGE COMPARTMENTS

WITH DIFFERENT VENTILATIONS

Professor Ali Nadjai is the Director of the Fire Safety Engineering Research Technology (FireSERT) Centre. He has been directly involved in all aspects of fire safety engineering research conducted at FireSERT for 25 years. He is one of the UK’s leading researchers and academics in Fire Safety Engineering and the performance of Building Infrastructures in fire and risk situations. He has achieved international recognition in the development of design codes and regulations. He has played a leading role at Ulster in developing the research base in the subject area as well as contributing significantly to a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the discipline.
